EARTHBAGS HOUSES

In the autumn of 2015, while the rebuilding phase took place, many families had not enough savings to build their house the way they did before. Some of our friends came with the following idea : building earthbag houses. It is cheap, earthquake proof, provide good insulation and really fast to build. Some of our staff took a training course in Kathmandu in order to lead the team of the workers back in the village of Namkeli, Liku Pike municipality, Solu district.

We build a total of 4 houses out of earthbags over the course of 2 months.
