MANJUSHREE SINGA BASIC SCHOOL

This school was build from scratch in 2012, on a land situated nearby Namkeli, Liku Pike municipality, Solu district.

No nearby school were operating at the time, thus many children from the Namkeli village had to walk long hours before to attend class.

Our founder, Ang Furba Sherpa, decided then to build a school with a capacity for 70+ children.

Following the Nepali schooling system, the Namkeli school provide primary education from class 1 to 5.

As per today, there’s 50+ children attending school.

So far that’s our biggest and longest project. Many things changed since 2012.

We have been able to add more class rooms, one teachers room, one library, one guest room, one kitchen, one green house and toilets with running water were children can wash their hand and brush teeth when arriving in school at 9 a.m.

The following pictures are in chronological order: from building in 2011 until now.
